Megatunes is an independent music retailer established in Calgary, Alberta Canada in 1988. Being an independent, we are often asked, "What do you specialize in?" and while we carry a great selection of Alternative, Blues, Folk & Roots, Jazz, Pop & Rock, Punk Rock, Urban & World Music, the best answer to that question is simple - we specialize in Customer Service.

Prefer the human touch? While megatunes.com is open 24 hours a day, our flagship street store is located in the heart of the Uptown 17 district of Calgary, Alberta Canada and our new store in Edmonton, Alberta Canada is located in the heart of Old Strathcona on Whyte Avenue.

Megatunes street hours are Monday to Saturdays 10 AM to 6 PM.  Sunday 11 AM to 5:30 PM Mountain Time. Our street hours for statutory holidays are 11 AM to 5:30 PM.

We're open every day of the year with the exception of Christmas Day and New Years Day.
